Favorite Movies of 2018

Welcome to the New Year everyone! As is tradition the boys sit down and list their favorite movies of 2018.

(and take a moment to acknowledge the worst movies they saw this year as well)

For some reason these episodes are really popular so we keep making them.

You’ll also notice another tradition we have with a new year new logo, we’ve upgraded from the 80’s to the 90’s! Tell us what you think of it?!

Holiday Drunkcast

On this special episode the boys are joined by Sound engineer Andry to drink eggnog and be merry. this episode is usually a patreon exclusive but they boys wanted to give a special treat to everyone!

If you like this episode and want more of them you should think about becoming a patreon supporter, all it costs you is $1 a month!

Die Hard

Welcome to the party pals! After a few years of debate the boys have decided to solve all the world problems and take it upon themselves to answer the few years old question: ‘Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?’ they are joined on this special Christmas Eve episode by first time guest Michael, so why don’t you come out to the coast, we’ll get together, have a few laughs…

Sin City

Today the boys take a trip down to the city, no not Paradise but Sin City (strangely this movie is NOT about Vegas)
They talk about the 2005 anthology film directed by Robert Rodriguez and all the things contained within it.

This episode was a patrteon request but in the episode we misattributed it  too our friend Bubba Drewski when it was actually a request for Zachary Scmachery.

Pootie Tang

Today’s episode is an experiment of sorts because it was actually recorded in two different segments at two different points in time. The boys are also joined by good friend of the show Simon who is back to talk about it this movie as it was his request and to just be his lovable self. This is a pretty focused episode all around and next week should be back to your normal episode layout style.

Megaman X

The boys go back to a simpler time, mainly 1993 to discuss this weeks topic the 2D platformer Megaman X, they also talk about Red Dead Redemption 2. this is a really fun episode with lots of excellent discussions!

Oscar

This week the boys sit down and talk about a movie no one has ever heard of apparently except for Kyle. The movie Oscar stars good friend of the show Sylvester Stallone and they boys talk about why it never took off. They also recap the 24 hour charity stream and spend a lot of time talking about comfort movies. All in all this is a pretty great episode with lots of fun discussions.

Spider-Man (PS4)

You knew this episode was coming sooner or later, the boys sit down to talk about Spider-Man for the Playstation 4. They also talk about flapping lady bits and superhero sidekicks and why they usually identify with them more. Come for the floppy lady bits and stay for superhero discussions you know the drill dummies.

How Stella Got Her Groove Back

On this episode Kyle & Ryan kick back, open some wine, put on their middle aged mom pants (which make their asses look great BTW) and talk about the 1998 Drama “HOow Stella Got Her Groove Back) they kind of tangent a bit but most of the episode is a discussion about the movie.

Siren (2004)

On the final episode of Scaretober we are joined by Ben from the Street Pizza Podcast to talk about one of his favorite horror games of all time Siren. A super weird and VERY Japanese game released for the PS2 all the way back in 2004. It is a very different game that most people do not like. Do we? I dunno listen and find out jerk I’m not spoiling everything in the description.

Trick ‘R Treat

The boys sit down again with their good friend Brooks to talk about the 2007 Halloween anthology film “Trick ‘R Treat” as always with Brooks the discussion is hearty and full of humor and good cheer. Here!! Here!!!

Shadows of the Damned

On this Halloween episode the boys continue one of their many traditions and sit down to talk about a Shinji Mikami horror 3rd person shooter from the PS3 era called “Shadows of the Damned” his game are about 50/50 on the love hate scale with the boys so you’ll have to listen and find out what the boys think. They also spend some time waxing poetically about horror in general.

Go spook yourself!

House (1986)

The month long celebration of Halloween is upon us and as usual we invite our good friend Brooks onto the show to talk about some spooky stuffs. The boys talk about a haunted house movie from 1986 this week, a classic in B Movie circles that also happened to cause quite a bit of trauma to a young Kyle, which of course they argue about.

It’s Friday my dudes, which means we’re talking about the second movie in #StonerMovieSeptember “Friday” Starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. We talk for a long while about this move and what makes it so special and such an appealing film to everyone who has ever seen it. Bye Felica!

Grandma’s Boy (#StonerMovieSeptember)

It’s everyone’s favorite holiday, Stoner Movie September! We are kicking this years festivities off with “Grandma’s Boy” from 2006. Dead by Daylight

On this weeks episode the boys talk getting in trouble as a kid, the new Halloween sequel and eventually the multiplayer horror game, “Dead by Daylight” lots of delicious tangents that you know and love!

The boys revisit the early format of the show and discuss two topics in the same episode, they also dive deep into discussing Captain Planet, the BK Kids and Don Cheadle is Tom Cruise still an action hero? Is a game where you just have to hit other cars fun?  Why don’t you listen and find out dummy.

Hamlet 2

Today the boys get their theater on and settle in to talk about “Hamlet 2” the 2008 comedy starring Steve Coogan as “Dana Marschz” a former actor turned High School drama teacher in Tucson Arizona who goes through a bit of a mid life crisis. How does someone write a sequel to a movie where every character dies in the first one? You’ll have to listen and find out!
